At Mélange Design Studio, we are truly committed to giving our clients a one-of-a-kind look, but this also means that we price each project based on each client’s individual needs. Services include custom logo and stationery design, marketing and advertising campaigns, flash, web design and e-commerce web design. Our design service fees range between $60-$80 per hour – amounts will be predetermined and agreed to in the form of a contract.

Accepted Forms of Payment: For the client’s convenience, Mélange Design Studio accepts payments via check as well as Visa and Mastercard. Payment by check requires that the check clears our accounts receivable before work will commence and that final payment clear before site will be made live. All payments by credit card follow the same guidelines as specified for payment by check. All out-of-state clients (non-ME/NH) are required to provide a credit card at the time of deposit for Mélange Design Studio to keep on file. Client may choose to not process transactions on this card, but it still needs to be provided. If the account becomes delinquent at any time, this card will be charged unless another form of payment is submitted to Mélange Design Studio in a timely manner.

Payment by Credit Card: Once Mélange Design Studio has received the initial authorization to run credit card, that card will be filed and used to process any and all subsequent invoices issued to client. Cards will be processed no more than 3 days after an invoice is issued, so client must contact Mélange Design Studio immediately should any dispute in charges arise. Any cost incurred to Mélange Design Studio to cancel or change a transaction will be billed at cost to the client. Client reserves the right to provide Mélange Design Studio with alternate payment methods, provided they give Mélange Design Studio ample notice of this change to their account.

Alternative Payment Methods: We will try to work with our clients if they do not think they can meet our payment terms. If a client requires a 30-day pay schedule, then they will be required to provide Mélange Design Studio with a completed credit application (please inquire with us directly for a credit application). If a credit application is not filled out, submitted to Mélange Design Studio and approved, then it is expected that the above payment terms will be adhered to.

Final Fees: Final fees and expenses shall be shown when invoice is rendered. The Client’s approval shall be obtained for any increases in fees or expenses that exceed the original estimate by ten percent (10%) or more. Cancellation (“kill”) fees are due based on the amount of work completed. Fifty percent (50%) of the total fee is due within 7 business days of notification that for any reason the job is canceled or postponed before the final stage. One hundred percent (100%) of the total fee is due despite cancellation or postponement of the job if the design work has been completed. Upon cancellation or kill, all rights to the art revert to Mélange Design Studio and cannot be used by the client or and any other agent.
